Louis Vuitton Teams Up with UNICEF to Support Children in Need

Louis Vuitton’s Silver Lockit Color Bracelets are not only a cute summer accessory, but also a way to give back. The neon bands which come in bright colours like pink, orange and lime green each retail for $250 and Louis Vuitton will be donating $100 from each sale to UNICEF. For those purchasing one of the Silver Lockit Pendant and Bracelets (which come at a higher cost) $200 will be donated. This marks the third year that Louis Vuitton has partnered with UNICEF. So far they have raised over five million dollars to support children in need. #MakeAPromise (High Snobiety)

Hugo Boss is Recreating Michael Jackson’s Iconic Thriller Suit

The National Portrait Gallery in London just opened an exhibit that pays tribute to the life and career of Michael Jackson. Hugo Boss, the brand behind Jackson’s iconic white suit on the cover of Thriller, are sponsoring the event alongside Sony Music. In celebration of the event, Hugo Boss is creating a revamped version of the iconic suit with a more modern fit. There are only 100 up for sale but the brand will also release three limited-edition unisex T-shirts that feature graphic prints of the late King of Pop. The event runs from June 28 to Oct. 21 before continuing on to Paris. Gucci to Stop Using Angora

More and more brands are making the decision to go fur free: Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and, of course, Stella McCartney to name a few. Gucci, who stopped including fur in their collections last fall, has announced that they will now also no longer use angora. Angora wool is made from the soft fluffy coats of angora rabbits and PETA has spoken out numerous times about the cruelty that comes from harvesting these furs. They claim that 90 percent of the wool comes from China where regulations are more slack against the treatment of animals. Last week PETA also persuaded Asos to ban mohair and the company announced that they would also ban cashmere, silk, down and feathers from its site by the end of January 2019. (WWD)

Rihanna Launches Savage Xccessories

Is it any surprise that the singer behind hits like S&M and Birthday Cake would release a line of sex accessories? The brand new collection compliments Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty lingerie line that launched last month and includes 10 different products for the bedroom. From lace garters to fuzzy handcuffs, this collection is 50 shades of Bad Gal Riri. (Instagram)
