Art project raising money for brain health launches

An ongoing advocacy campaign launched a large-scale art exhibit project Wednesday.

Gina Godfrey, artist and honorary co-chair of the Brain Project, launched the initiative at Toronto’s Nathan Phillips Square — one of the venues hosting pieces in the city-wide art exhibit, which features 50 brain-theme sculptures designed by internationally-recognized artists and celebrities.

This year, the project aims to raise $1 Million for the Baycrest Foundation, which supports brain health research and care for Alzheimer’s and related dementias.
